  27. You'll find most people are loyal to whatever they buy, but here's my
  28. opinion. I have a 17" NEC 5FG. It's great, but the glass screen
  29. can be very glary if you don't have the right lighting. I also have
  30. a 20" Nanao T660i. This has as Trinitron tube, so the resolution is
  31. truly excellent. I run in 1280x1024 mode at all times now, and there's
  32. no problems or strain.

  34. I figured that I stare at this thing every day, so investing in a good
  35. monitor is important. The Nanao, with digital controls, antiglare screen,
  36. Trinitron tube, dual inputs, color correction, geometry correction, and
  37. power management just can't be beat.

  44. ObLightwave: I don't see much difference in the performance of
  45. Lighwave's wireframe layout update between a $550 ATI Graphics Ultra
  46. Pro, a $200 ATI Graphics Xpression, and a $250 Diamond Stealth. The
  47. GUP has the redeeming feature of 1280x1084 at 24 bits though.
